Moving a Thermostat to a New Spot: A Step-By-Step Guide

But if you want to move a thermostat to another room, be prepared for some wire splicing and maybe even running it above the ceiling. Such work requires basic electrical know-how. Step #1: Picking a New Place

Step #2: Turn off the Electricity
